Looking for climbing frames in Newry that are built to last and made just for your space? At Killylea Woodcraft, we handcraft high-quality wooden climbing frames that turn any garden into a safe and fun play area for children.

We don’t make one-size-fits-all products. Each climbing frame is made to order, based on what you need and how your garden is shaped. With strong timber, expert workmanship, and delivery across Newry and Northern Ireland, we help families build safe spaces where kids can have fun and stay active.

Why Families in Newry Choose Our Climbing Frames

Our customers trust us because we focus on three simple things: safety, quality, and great service. Every climbing frame for kids is made in our workshop in County Armagh by skilled craftspeople with over 30 years of experience.

Here’s what makes us different:

• High-quality timber – strong, safe, and long-lasting
• Custom design – built to fit your garden and your child’s age
• Professional fitting – no mess, no stress
• Personal service – we listen and deliver what you want

We also supply and fit across Newry, meaning you don’t have to do anything. We take care of it all,  from the first idea to the final screw.

What Are Climbing Frames Used For?

A climbing frame is an outdoor play structure that lets children climb, swing, and slide safely in the garden. These are perfect for developing:

• Balance
• Strength
• Confidence
• Imagination

They’re much more than toys, they help kids stay active and build social skills by playing with others. Our children’s climbing frames are made for real use, meaning they can handle rough weather, busy kids, and years of daily fun.

Made with Strong Timber and Local Care

We source the best materials and never cut corners. All our wooden climbing frames are made from solid imported timber, designed to last for many years. Each piece is shaped and fitted with care by our own team.

Before we build, we ask questions like:

• How old are your children?
• What size is your garden?
• Would you like swings, slides, or towers?
• Do you need it built into a corner or against a wall?

We then design your frame to match your answers. Our goal is to make something that looks great, feels safe, and fits your outdoor space perfectly.

Popular Climbing Frame Features

Many customers across Newry ask for features like:

• Wooden towers and ladders
• Swing sets
• Monkey bars
• Slides
• Forts or cabins
• Rope climbers
• Climbing walls
• Integrated sandpits

You can mix and match what you want. Every garden is different, and so is every frame. Our team will help you build a garden climbing frame that fits your space and your budget.

Safe and Secure Installations in Newry

Safety is always our top priority. Our team delivers and installs your climbing frame in Newry on a date that suits you. We need only a level surface to work on.

Once the structure is in place, we test every part to make sure it’s fitted correctly and safe to use. We’ll never leave a job half-finished.

Climbing Frames for Kids of All Ages

We design frames for toddlers, children aged 5–12, and older kids too. Whether you want a simple play tower or a full garden fort with swings and slides, we have the skills to make it happen.

Climbing frames for kids should grow with them. That’s why we offer modular builds, you can start small and add more features later as your children grow or as your space changes.

Benefits of Garden Climbing Frames

Here are a few reasons why a climbing frame in your garden is a good idea:

• Encourages daily physical activity
• Builds strength and motor skills
• Promotes safe outdoor play
• Gives children their own space
• Saves trips to public parks
• Adds value to your garden

In a time when kids are spending more time indoors, this is a fun way to help them enjoy the fresh air and stay active.
