About Killylea Woodcraft

Formed in 2009 in Killylea, Co. Armagh, our company has grown from a small local workshop into one of Northern Ireland’s most respected timber specialists. We create everything from custom sheds and cabins to decking, fencing, and play equipment, using only the highest-quality materials and craftsmanship.

Every project we take on, whether it’s a climbing frame in Bangor, a garden cabin in Armagh, or decking in Belfast, reflects our dedication to quality and customer satisfaction. Our skilled team brings decades of combined experience to every build, ensuring the finished result is strong, safe, and stunning.

Why Choose a Wooden Climbing Frame for Your Bangor Home

A climbing frame isn’t just a fun addition to your garden; it’s a long-term investment in your children’s health, happiness, and creativity. Here’s why families across Bangor are choosing custom-built climbing frames from Killylea Woodcraft:

1. Encourages Active Play

In today’s digital world, getting kids outside and active can be a challenge. Our climbing frames are designed to inspire adventure, helping children develop balance, strength, and coordination while having fun outdoors.

2. Built for Safety

We understand that safety is every parent’s top priority. That’s why we construct every climbing frame using high-grade, pressure-treated timber, smooth finishes, and sturdy fixtures. Each design is carefully planned to eliminate sharp edges or unsafe gaps.

3. Completely Customisable

No two gardens are the same, and no two families have the same needs. That’s why we offer fully bespoke climbing frame designs; you can choose the layout, height, features, colours, and accessories. Whether you want swings, a slide, a rope bridge, or a playhouse tower, we’ll make it happen.

4. Blends with Your Garden

Our wooden climbing frames aren’t just strong and safe, they’re beautifully crafted to complement your outdoor space. The natural timber finish blends perfectly with lawns, patios, and garden plants, adding rustic charm as well as endless fun.

5. Built to Last

Unlike cheap, mass-produced plastic alternatives, our wooden climbing frames are made to stand the test of time. With proper care, they’ll last for many years, growing with your children and remaining a standout feature in your Bangor garden.

Our Climbing Frames – Designed for Adventure

At Killylea Woodcraft, we offer a wide range of climbing frame styles to suit all ages, gardens, and budgets. From compact play towers for smaller spaces to large, multi-level adventure sets, our team can bring your dream play area to life.

Some of our most popular features include:

• Wooden towers and lookout platforms
• Slides, swings, and climbing walls
• Rope ladders and bridges
• Sandpits, playhouses, and tunnels
• Optional roofing, balustrades, and decorative details

Each climbing frame is designed with safety, stability, and creativity in mind. And because we handle everything in-house from design to delivery and installation, you can be confident in a seamless process from start to finish.
